Rita Hassouany
born in Lebanon in 1983, pursued her education in Syria, graduating from Damascus University with a degree in Fine Arts and a specialization in sculpture in 2005. Following her studies, she relocated back to Lebanon after living in Syria. Rita’s artistic perspective draws inspiration from diverse sources, including her surroundings in both countries. Her work predominantly focuses on the female form, which she considers a rich and multifaceted subject, reflecting her deep emotional connection to her art. Her sculptures convey narratives that explore the interplay between emotions and physicality, embodying her quest to breathe life into the intangible.
